Getting Started in Manual Photography
Getting Started in Manual Photography is a fun
six-week course designed to take the student from simple camera
handling and procedures to understanding the optical and creative
possibilities of the medium. Discussion, slide shows and hands-on demonstrations
are combined to give participants a solid knowledge of all the manual
and automatic 35mm DSLR camera controls. Learn how to creatively
control f/stops, shutter speeds, and depth-of-field, along with
exposure, composition and light. Students are encouraged to bring their
cameras, manuals and a note pad & pencil to class each week.

Getting Started in Speedlight Flash Photography
Learn the secrets of speedlight
flash techniques both on and off-camera to make dynamic images in this
fun, four week class. Gain familiarity with TTL metering systems,
wireless remote triggering systems, multiple flash setups, gels, grids,
and other light modifiers.
