Getting Started in Manual Photography

Getting Started in Manual Photography is a fun six-week course designed to take the student from simple camera handling and procedures to understanding the optical and creative possibilities of the medium. Discussion, slide shows and hands-on demonstrations are combined to give participants a solid knowledge of all the manual and automatic 35mm DSLR camera controls. Learn how to creatively control f/stops, shutter speeds, and depth-of-field, along with exposure, composition and light. Students are encouraged to bring their cameras, manuals and a note pad & pencil to class each week.
